Our democracy is ‘unrecognizable’, says Ramgoolam

The leader of the Labour Party Dr Navin Ramgoolam has, in a message on his Facebook page, has reminded about the party’s contribution to the development of the country.

“The party has shaped modern Mauritius and freed us all from the colonial yoke,” he said as the party celebrates its 86th anniversary.

He also hit at the MSM government. “Since the 2014 elections, we can only see a constant erosion of our values and our principles. Our democracy is unrecognizable,” he said.
