Tragedy in St-Pierre as 2 Young Corporate Colleagues are Found Dead
A murder investigation has been launched by police after two colleagues were discovered dead on Friday morning, 29 May, at a property in Caprice Lane, St-Pierre. Local police are currently treating the tragedy as a case of “alleged murder” as they work to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths.
The victims have been identified as a 31-year-old man from Quartier-Militaire and a 24-year-old woman from Nouvelle-France.
Both were employed at the same company based in the commercial hub of Ébène.
The grim discovery unfolded at a house currently under construction on Caprice Lane, which belonged to the 31-year-old victim.
His body was located inside the building and was subsequently rushed by a relative to the C-Care clinic, where he was officially pronounced dead.
The young woman’s body was discovered nearby, found inside the man’s car which was parked on the grounds of the same under-construction property.
Emergency medical personnel from the SAMU were dispatched to the scene, where they confirmed her death.
The St-Pierre police force has opened an official inquiry to shed light on the exact sequence of events that led to the tragedy.
