New CEO Appointed to Lead Mauritius Africa FinTech Hub
The Mauritius Africa FinTech Hub (MAFH) has announced the appointment of Vikash Ramdin as its new Chief Executive Officer, placing a veteran of the international financial services sector at the helm of the pan-African ecosystem.
Mr Ramdin joins the organisation with over 20 years of experience across regulated environments in Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
His career has spanned senior leadership roles within wealth management, international banking, and major consumer enterprises.
Extensive Sector Experience
Prior to his appointment at MAFH, Mr Ramdin held marketing and management positions at several high-profile firms. His professional background includes tenures at:
- Barclays Bank
- VAM Management Services Limited
- KFC – YUM Brands
- Domaines Les Pailles
Driving Digital Innovation
Mr Ramdin is already a recognised figure within the regional FinTech landscape.
He has been instrumental in developing the ecosystem across both Mauritius and the wider African continent, specifically focusing on the facilitation of cross-border exchanges and engagement with regulatory bodies.
Most recently, through MINDSET Strategic Services, he provided consultancy to executives on critical digital transitions, including data management and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into corporate decision-making.
