GFA Insurance Offers 15 Days of Free Cover to Reward 5 Years Safe Driving

GFA Insurance has announced it will offer 15 days of free coverage to policyholders as a direct response to the rising cost of living and increasing accident rates.

The Mauritian insurer’s new initiative targets responsible motorists who are due to renew their policies.

To qualify for the “free fortnight,” clients must have a clean driving record with no accidents reported over the past five years.

The offer also extends to those who have made claims for accidents where they were not found to be at fault.

Abdel Ruhomutally, Managing Director of GFA Insurance, stated in a press release issued Thursday, 7 May, that the move was designed to reward exemplary road safety.

“The cost of living is rising, and so are accidents,” Mr Ruhomutally said. “With this small gesture, we want to both help our clients and say well done to those who, through their exemplary driving, protect lives.”

To benefit from the offer, policyholders must settle their renewal premiums in full.

The discount applies to several policy tiers, including Comprehensive (Platinum and Titanium), Third Party, and Third Party Xtra.

The campaign will be rolled out across three specific windows over the coming months:

• May Renewals: Monday 11 May to Friday 22 May.
• June Renewals: Monday 8 June to Friday 19 June.
• July Renewals: Monday 13 July to Friday 24 July.
