Camp Thorel Road Closed 5 Months for Urgent Drainage Work

The road at Camp Thorel (B53) will be completely closed to all traffic from July 15 to December 15. This closure is necessary due to essential drainage work being carried out by the National Development Unit (NDU) at the intersection of Camp Thorel Road with New Discovery Road (B99), which leads to the village of Camp Thorel.

During this period, traffic will be diverted as follows:

  • From Camp Thorel village: Drivers must use the existing roads via Saint Julien D’Hotman, Quartier Militaire, and Saint Pierre to access the New Discovery, Ripailles areas, and the M3 highway.
  • From the regions of New Discovery, Ripailles, and Saint Pierre: Drivers should take the existing roads through Quartier Militaire and Saint Julien D’Hotman to reach Camp Thorel.

Clear signage will be installed along the route to guide and inform drivers throughout the closure.
