Lux Belle Mare 5-Star Resort Joins the Elite Global Virtuoso Network

LUX* Belle Mare has been inducted into the prestigious Virtuoso travel network, joining an exclusive global portfolio of the world’s finest luxury hotels and travel providers.

The invitation-only partnership places the Mauritian resort among 2,200 elite providers across 100 countries.

By joining this network, the property gains direct access to Virtuoso’s global community of luxury travel advisors, targeted marketing channels, and major industry events, including the renowned Virtuoso Travel Week.

A Strategic Milestone

Olivier Chavy, CEO of the award-winning parent group The Lux Collective, hailed the move as a testament to the resort’s high standards.

“Virtuoso represents the highest standards of luxury travel,” Chavy stated. He noted that the affiliation bolsters the group’s ability to connect with guests seeking “authentic moments” and “bespoke experiences,” aligning with their commitment to “Life Extraordinary” hospitality.

World-Class Credentials

The inclusion follows a string of accolades for the resort, which recently secured the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star award for the third consecutive year.

Situated on the island’s tranquil east coast, the contemporary sanctuary features suites and villas redesigned by acclaimed Mauritian designer Jean-Marc Tang. The interiors are noted for blending modern comfort with a minimalist island aesthetic.

Gourmet and Wellness Offerings

Beyond its design, LUX* Belle Mare is home to one of the largest lagoon pools on the island and a sophisticated culinary scene. Notable dining options include:

  • Duck Laundry: A renowned Chinese restaurant.
  • Amari by Vineet: Contemporary Indian cuisine led by Vineet Bhatia, the first Indian chef to be awarded a Michelin star.

The resort further distinguishes itself through its LUX* ME Spa, which offers transformative wellness stays, alongside a curated collection of “Extraordinary Experiences” for international travellers.

This new affiliation is expected to significantly strengthen the resort’s ties with leading leisure travel agencies across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East.
