British Man Arrested in Flic-en-Flac with 4 Bags Cannabis

A 53-year-old British national has been arrested in Flic-en-Flac on suspicion of cannabis trafficking following a raid by the Anti-Drug and Smuggling Unit (ADSU) on Tuesday, 2 June.

During a search of the suspect’s residence, officers seized four bags containing 351 grams of cannabis, with an estimated street value of Rs 526,000.

In addition to the cannabis, the ADSU recovered approximately 451 cannabis seeds and an electronic weighing scale from the property.

Officers also confiscated Rs 21,000 in cash, which authorities suspect to be the proceeds of drug trafficking.

An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
