FCC Issues Urgent Alert as 3 International Phone Numbers Lead Whatsapp Scam
The Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) has issued an urgent warning to bank account holders following a surge in sophisticated phone scams targeting personal financial data.
Fraudsters are reportedly contacting victims via WhatsApp, posing as official bank representatives to solicit sensitive information.
The commission warns that these scammers are attempting to obtain account numbers, credit card details, and personal identification numbers (PINs).
Suspect Numbers Identified
The FCC has flagged several international phone numbers linked to these fraudulent activities. The public is urged to remain vigilant if contacted by the following:
- +92 330 653 6792
- +92 331 720 6976
- +1 (929) 708-1885

Safety Guidelines for Consumers
To prevent financial loss, the commission has released a set of mandatory safety protocols for all banking customers.
The primary directive is to never share banking data via telephone or messaging services.
Authorities further advise the public to refrain from interacting with any suspicious international numbers.
If customers have concerns regarding the security of their accounts, they are instructed to bypass third-party messages and contact their bank directly.
