Dr Neerunjun Gopee Appointed as New Chancellor of University of Mauritius

The appointment was formalised during an induction ceremony held on Friday afternoon, 19 December. Dr Neerunjun Gopee, a distinguished surgeon, has been officially appointed as the new Chancellor of the University of Mauritius (UoM).

Dr Gopee’s transition from the operating theatre to the head of the island’s premier tertiary institution marks a significant new chapter for the university.
