Mauritius Police Force Swells with 407 New Personnel on November 3
Four hundred and seven new recruits, including 118 women, have joined the Mauritius Police Force (MPF), significantly bolstering the service’s capacity.
Training Commences
The influx of new officers comes as public security remains a priority for the authorities. All 407 recruits began their six-month training programme on Monday, November 3.
Training Locations
The extensive training is being conducted across several police schools, specifically those located in Beau-Bassin, Curepipe, and Vacoas, alongside the Special Mobile Force (SMF) training facilities.
Strengthening Frontline
This new promotion is intended to strengthen the ranks on the ground, enhancing the overall operational effectiveness of the police force.
