Jennifer Ferret has been appointed the new Director of the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel, making her the first woman to hold the position at the prestigious establishment.

Career and Experience

Ms. Ferret brings more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, having worked across Mauritius, Europe, and the United States.

Her extensive background includes tenures at prominent locations such as the Waldorf Astoria in Orlando and the Royal Palm.

She has also held various senior roles within both local and international hospitality brands, operating in diverse settings.

Immediately prior to taking the helm at Labourdonnais, she served as the director of the Sugar Beach Resort.

Leadership in Crisis

A notable period in her career saw her pivot outside of hospitality during the pandemic. She joined the medical sector with C-Care, where her responsibilities included supervising patient safety and coordinating care.

Ms. Ferret credits this experience with having enriched her outlook on management and leadership in demanding contexts.
