4-Star Veranda Grand Baie Reopens After Renovation
Acting Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Steven Obeegadoo, officially inaugurated the fully renovated Veranda Grand Baie hotel, marking a significant milestone in the tourism industry’s recovery post-Covid.
Obeegadoo emphasised the sector’s robust revival and commended the unique Creole architectural elements preserved in the renovation.
Thierry Montocchio, CEO of Rogers Hospitality, described Veranda Grand Baie as a reflection of Mauritian spirit and generosity. The Veranda Resort reopened as a four-star establishment in July. Architect Jean-Philippe Piat and interior designer Paule de Romeuf led this reimagined Creole chic concept.
