National Assembly: Veda Baloomoody Elected Deputy Speaker
Veda Baloomoody has been elected as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly on Friday, November 29. The election took place during the parliamentary session held on same day.
Representing constituency number 18 (Belle-Rose/Quatre-Bornes), Baloomoody pledged to work impartially and to uphold the dignity of the Parliament in his new role as Deputy Speaker.
