New association brings together Mauritian lawyers in Australia

Daniel Plaiche has been elected as the new President of the Mauritian Australian Law Association, according to media reports.

The Mauritian Australian Law Association is a new entity that brings together over a hundred lawyers and students of Mauritian origin living and working in Australia.

Daniel Plaiche, who has over 15 years of practice in Melbourne, is a recognized lawyer in Australia.

The Vice President of the Association is Gil Lamhing, also a lawyer.

Mr Plaiche has reportedly had a working session with the Mr Yatin Verma, President of the Mauritius Bar Association where the possibility of helping law students was discussed.
