Island-wide delivery of cooking gas in limbo
The delivery of cooking gas (red and yellow) could be jeopardised in the days/weeks to come.
Employees of Central Distributors Ltd have, according to Defi Media, temporarily put on hold their threat for a go slow.
They alleged they have not been paid their compensation for the months of January and February.
Employees denounced that they have also not been paid for their overtime since 2019.
A meeting with their employer will culminate either in the payment of their dues or a “go-slow and other actions.”
Central Distributors Ltd is engaged in the distribution of cooking gas to over 46 fuel stations across the island.
