Cybercrime Unit investigates fresh cases of online fraud
The Central Criminal Investigation Division (CCID) and the Cybercrime Unit are investigating fresh cases of online fraud.
According to a police communique, scams in the form of e-mails bearing the logos or seals of Mauritian companies are circulating and asking individuals to make payments.
“Beware of imitations, lookalike emails, spoofing,” police have warned.
