Tycoon Mamy Ravatomanga Hit with International Arrest Warrant
ANTANANARIVO, Madagascar – A high-profile international arrest warrant was issued on October 16, 2025, by Antananarivo’s anti-corruption hub against prominent businessman Maminiaina (Mamy) Ravatomanga, the CEO of the Sodiat group.
Serious Charges Under Malagasy Law
The warrant, issued in the name of the Malagasy people, cites serious offences including money laundering and the financing of terrorism. These charges are based on Articles 14, 39, and 44 of the Malagasy Law 2018-043.
Order to Arrest and Detain
The document explicitly orders all bailiffs and agents of the Malagasy public forces to arrest the accused and transport him to the Antanimora Central Prison. The move comes amid a deepening crisis in Madagascar
