Bolivian Woman Arrested with Rs 30 Million Worth of Heroin
A Bolivian woman, Ercilia Parada Saucedo, has been arrested in Mauritius for drug trafficking.
Over two kilograms of a white powder, believed to be heroin, were found in her suitcase at the SSR International Airport.
Saucedo arrived on a flight from Bolivia with a stopover in Dubai. The police are searching for an interpreter to assist with the investigation.
Saucedo has been placed in custody, and she will face a provisional charge of drug trafficking at the Mahebourg court.
