MCB emerges as top lender to students, dishes out Rs1.93Bn
Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB) has emerged as the top lender to students over the period from April 15, 2013, to July 31, 2023.
According to latest data from the Bank of Mauritius, MCB has approved loans amounting to Rs 1.93 billion.
Other banks in this category include Absa Bank (Mauritius) with Rs 11.89 million, SBM Bank (Mauritius) with Rs 16.64 million, MauBank with Rs 18.44 million, Bank One with Rs 344,000 and SBI (Mauritius) with Rs 400,000.
