Young Mauritian arrested in Italy for stealing alcohol
A 20-year-old Mauritian national was arrested in Milan, Italy, on Sunday evening for stealing alcohol in a pizzeria.
According to local newspaper, MilanoToday, the unnamed young Mauritian citizen, a 21-year-old Ivorian and a 19-year-old Nigerian born – all born in Italy, walked into a pizzeria around midnight and stole three bottles of alcohol.
The restaurant owner was injured while trying to stop them escaping.
The trio were arrested shortly after on charges of robbery with aggravating circumstances.
