After 17 Surgeries, man walks again days before birthday

Steven D, has celebrated a massive win of being able to walk again after years of immobility Steven revealed that the only thing he wanted for his birthday in 2021 was to smile, and standing on his feet gave him that. Many people who watched his video were inspired by his triumph as they wished him more strength.

In a LinkedIn post, the man said he took his first walk in 2021 after he had an accident in 2016. On Friday, January 1, Steve resolved he would walk without his walker. 

After his 17th surgery, the man took some steps without any aid. In the video shared on the platform, Steve advanced gently towards the camera. 

He went ahead to advise his followers to always dream big and work hard towards it no matter the challenges they are facing. 

The man said: “Whether you make professional or personal goals, always dream BIG, work HARD, keep the FAITH, and never GIVEUP. Every step is a success! I am very thankful and blessed. Thank you family, friends and community for your love, support and prayers!” His video has over three million views. 

Jean Yves Koenig said: “Although I do not know you as living in my little island Mauritius, I admire your courage, your determination and your eagerness for life. You are supported from your wife and a large community and that’s a great motivating factor.”
