Coming up: new speed limits

Motorists are being warned. They will soon be hit with new regulations, further reducing speed limit in all towns and some villages.

Defi Media cited Alan Ganoo, Minister of Land Transport, as saying that the new speed limits in Port Louis will be 40 km/hr for the “main roads” and 30 km/hr for side roads.

The villages to be affected by the change are yet to be decided.
