Kanwar Blaze: 6 Dead, Multiple Injuries in Fiery Disaster
A Kanwar caught fire on the road in Arsenal this afternoon of Sunday, 3rd March.
According to eyewitnesses, the structure was high enough to hit high voltage power lines.
Firefighters, paramedics, and the police were called to the scene. At least six deaths have been reported among the victims.
This group of pilgrims was coming from Triolet and heading towards the sacred lake of Grand-Bassin.
A similar event occurred last year, resulting in two deaths.
