Ethiopian Airlines Schedules 30 Flights to Mauritius Starting this June 2026
A temporary operating permit has been granted to Ethiopian Airlines to launch a new flight service to Mauritius starting next month, unlocking critical new trade and travel links with West Africa.
The carrier will operate a total of 30 flights between 15 June and 30 September, averaging roughly two rotations per week.
Using Addis Ababa as its strategic hub, the new route is expected to significantly boost the island nation’s regional connectivity.
Tourism Minister Richard Duval stated that the incoming service will strengthen Mauritius’s international accessibility while providing a direct stimulus to both the local tourism sector and international trade.
In tandem with the African expansion, Minister Duval also announced the introduction of incoming flights from Madrid operated by Iberojet and World2Fly.
The Spanish services are designed to reinforce Mauritius’s presence in the European market and consolidate its broader tourism industry.
