Mauritius Rises to 2nd Favorite Emirates Destination for Summer 2025 Travel

Mauritius is quickly becoming one of the hottest travel spots for summer 2025, according to recent booking data from Emirates. Bookings to the island have surged by 41%, making it the second most sought-after destination on the airline’s route from July 1 to August 30, 2025.

Emirates currently offers two daily flights to Mauritius aboard Airbus A380s, providing easy access from major European, Asian, and American markets.

The rising demand highlights Mauritius’s growing appeal, especially among travelers from the UK, India, Australia, and Germany.

For example, UK travelers are increasingly choosing long-haul trips like Mauritius, while Indian visitors tend to prefer shorter getaways.

Overall, Emirates reports a 7% increase in summer bookings compared to last year. Vietnam leads the growth with a 61% jump, followed by Mauritius and Sri Lanka.

Japan and France also rank in the top five destinations.

Travelers are now looking for places that offer cultural experiences, nature, and ease of access.

Mauritius fits perfectly into this trend, thanks to its strong flight connections from Dubai and its strategic location in the Indian Ocean.
