Police Hunt Suspects after Rs 92,000 Cable Theft at Major Construction Site

Police have launched an investigation following a high-value theft at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee building site on Wall Street, Ébène, over the weekend, 10-11 January.

Cables worth more than Rs 92,000 were stolen from the construction area. The haul consisted of several metres of cabling of various dimensions.

Discovery and Investigation

The incident came to light after a Site Store Keeper discovered that the materials were missing and alerted the authorities.

The Rose-Hill police are currently leading the enquiry into the theft. No arrests have been made at this stage as officers continue their investigations into how the site was breached.
