My.T Money evolves into ‘super app’
My.t money has evolved into a universal mobile payment application, according to Sherry Singh, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mauritius Telecom.
The mobile app now offers new features: Payments and transfers can now be made from bank account to bank account and they are instantaneous.
Payments are also now possible through all QR Codes compatible with the MauCas system of the Bank of Mauritius (BoM).
In addition, the ceiling for daily transactions has been increased to Rs 50,000. My.t money also allows the user to put money aside and to create a kitty for joint payment among several users.
Applications from partner companies such as movie theatres or insurance companies have also been accessible.
The user can also accumulate points and participate in games.
