15Kg of heroin seized in Belle Mare
Police have seized about 15 kilos of heroin (worth more than Rs 225 million), in Belle-Mare on Monday, April 11.
This was revealed by Police Commissioner Anil Kumar Dip. He added that several record seizures were also made in recent weeks.
Commissioner Dip commended the painstaking work carried out by the Divisional Crime Intelligence Unit.
He announced that a “striking force” will be set up and the Police Information Unit will be beefed up.
