Water levels down, but we can manage through December
Water levels are down 26%, but we’re looking ok so far, the Central Water Authority (CWA) has reassured.
At the current trend, the CWA said there are no plans to impose any restriction on water distribution, at least until the end of the year. As at December 3, local reservoirs were 74% full compared to 45% last year.
The Bagatelle Dam is full at 83%, Mare-Longue, 82.2%, Mare-aux-Vacoas, 75.1%, Piton du Milieu, 77.3%, La Nicolière , 60.8% and La Ferme 60.5%.
