The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Housing and Land Use Planning and Minister of Tourism, Steven Obeegadoo, will be acting Prime Minister in Pravind Jugnauth’s absence.
The latter left for the COP26 World Leaders Summit in Glasgow on Sunday. Obeegadoo will be in control until November 12 and will also be the chief guest at the commemoration of the arrival of the first indentured labourers.
