Scammers using HSBC logo to offer loan deals
HSBC (Mauritius) has reportedly issued an alert that its logo and branding elements have been usurped by scammers – claiming to offer loan facilities from the Bank of Mauritius and HSBC France, within 24 hours, for amounts ranging from Rs 200,000 to Rs 150 million at an interest rate of 2% per year .
“Neither HSBC (Mauritius) nor HSBC (France) offer such facilities and do not communicate about our product offering in this manner,” it said in a communique cited by Defi Media.
