Ascencia to redeem 10% of its bonds
Ascencia Limited has announced that 10% of its redeemable bonds, representing 1,755,668 bonds, will be automatically redeemed on 30 June 2021. The trading of the redeemable bonds will cease on 25 June 2021 at close of business, will resume on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius Ltd. on 01 July 2021 and will apply to bondholders whose names are registered in the bond register of the Company at the close of business on 30 June 2021.
The Board of Ascencia has also approved the coupon interest of Rs 0.72 per bond payable to its redeemable bondholders, representing a coupon rate of 6.0% per annum on the nominal value. This coupon payment is in respect of the financial year ending 30 June 2021 and will take place on or about 30 June 2021 to the bondholders whose names are registered in the bond register of the Company at the close of business on 30 June 2021.
