Among the victims is a child from Khan Younis who died from malnutrition, according to officials at Nasser Hospital. Five Palestinians have died of starvation in Gaza over the past 24 hours, as Israel considers expanding its operations of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF). These deaths increase the total number of starvation-related deaths in Gaza to 193.

Meanwhile, nine Palestinians were killed by Israeli gunfire while waiting for aid.

Five of these deaths occurred in the southern city of Rafah, and four in central Gaza, reports the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

The ongoing starvation crisis and international criticism have prompted plans to increase aid distribution points from four to sixteen, as announced by US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee.

As Israel considers expanding its military operations in Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also weighing the possibility of a full occupation of the territory.

This comes despite warnings from Israeli families of captives against further escalation.
