Silver Bank’s Ex-Manager Questioned in Toxic Loans Case

Rajiv Ramcharitar, former Senior Relationship Manager at Silver Bank Limited (formerly BanyanTree Bank), was detained on Thursday, July 31.

He was approached by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) immediately after arriving at the airport and was taken to Réduit Triangle in the afternoon.

Ramcharitar is being questioned as part of an investigation into the bank’s issuance of “toxic loans.”
