Saudi Arabia Strengthens Ties with Mauritius, Elevates Consulate to Embassy

Saudi Arabia’s General Consulate in Mauritius is being upgraded to an Embassy in the coming weeks to strengthen the relationship and cooperation between the two countries.

The announcement was made by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Mauritius, Mr Sultan bin Abdullah Al-Angari, during a courtesy call on Minister Alan Ganoo.

Discussions focused on issues and projects to enhance bilateral ties, with Saudi Arabia reaffirming its commitment to Mauritius and highlighting its funding of various projects in the country.
