Former 6th President of Mauritius Joins EnerSynk to Lead Global Sustainability Strategy

EnerSynk Group, the global clean energy developer, has appointed Dr Ameenah Gurib-Fakim, the 6th President of Mauritius, as its Emeritus Chairperson. The high-profile appointment comes as the group accelerates its transition from standalone solar projects to integrated climate infrastructure across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Scientific Accountability and Global Expansion

Dr Gurib-Fakim, a scientist by training, emphasised that sustainable development must be rooted in “science, accountability, and measurable impact.”

Her role will reinforce a strategy that integrates renewable energy and deployable carbon systems into national strategies.
