Authorities Freeze Process for Driving Instructors Citing New Regulatory Admin Reasons

The issuance of new licences for driving schools and instructors has been suspended with immediate effect, authorities have confirmed. In a statement released by Police Headquarters , officials announced that no further applications for driving instruction permits will be accepted until further notice.

Under the new directive, any dossiers or applications submitted during this hiatus will be left unprocessed.

The police have attributed the temporary freeze to “administrative and regulatory reasons,” suggesting a period of internal review or restructuring within the sector.

While the suspension remains open-ended, the police indicated that a commencement date for resuming applications will be communicated at a later stage.
