A magnitude 4.2 earthquake was recorded today, Friday 26 December, in the waters between Rodrigues and Australia. Despite the seismic activity occurring approximately 400 km from Mauritius, the Vacoas Meteorological Services have confirmed that the quake poses no threat to the island.
