In a significant reshuffle within the police force, a wave of transfers has hit the Eastern and Southern divisions, with personnel changes enacted across all four divisions in recent days.

Notable among these adjustments is the appointment of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Ramjeet, who has been transferred from the Eastern Division to take on the role of Divisional Commander in the Southern Division.

Meanwhile, the Eastern Division will see ACP Behary step up as its new Divisional Commander.

Furthermore, ACP Mohanut from the Public Prosecution Office has also been reassigned as the second Divisional Commander and will operate from the Moka headquarters.

In the Southern Division, ACP Sumrah is set to leave his current role to take charge of airport police operations.

Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police (SP) Bansoodeb has departed from the Metropolitan Division and will now assume command of Sector 1 in Grand-Port, based out of the Rose-Belle headquarters.

Additionally, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Warsalee is making a move from the Southern Division to the Central Division, where he will become the Station Commander overseeing the Curepipe and Midlands regions, working from the Curepipe police station.

This series of transfers underscores a broader strategy within the police force, as officials look to enhance operational efficiency and realign resources across the regions.
