Ex-BAI Boss Pursues Justice, Lodges Fresh Complaint Against Former Minister

Dawood Rawat, former Chairman Emeritus of the now-defunct BAI Group gave a fresh deposition at the Central CID office on Friday 1st August, this time against former minister Vishnu Lutchmeenaraidoo.

Dawood Rawat came as a follow-up to an earlier complaint he filed on July 18 against Sattar Hajee Abdoola, former Administrator of BAI Group in 2015.

Rawat arrived at the Central Police Station shortly before 11 a.m., accompanied by his daughter, Laina.

Speaking to the press, he reaffirmed his commitment to seek justice—not only for himself and his family but also for former employees of his conglomerate, whom he believes have been unfairly affected since the BAI scandal broke out.
