l’Express star journalist arrested, allegedly detained in dubious conditions
L’Express star journalist Narain Jasodanand, known to have broken numerous scandals involving government officials, was arrested on Monday 21 March.
His detention at Floreal Police reportedly followed accusations of verbal assault by his ex-wife.
The newspaper claimed its employee was detained longer than expected and made to starve for a day and did not get access to his medicines.
Jasodanand was due to appear before Curepipe on Tuesday.
