Labour party boss recovering from heart surgery

Former Prime Minister and leader of the Labour Party Dr Navin Ramgoolam, 74, is said to be slowly recovering from his heart surgery, Defi Media reported.

He reportedly attended a medical follow-up at Wellkin Hospital, in Moka, during the week, in the company of Dr Farhad Aumeer, Labour MP.

The newspaper said Dr Ramgoolam is said to be doing well.
