Ahmed Parkar meets Seychelles President to talk bilateral cooperation

Mauritius Honorary Consul of the Republic of Seychelles in Mauritius, Mr Ahmed Parkar, met the island’s President Mr Wavel Ramkalawan this week to give an update on actions taken during his first few months of tenure.

While congratulating Mr Parkar on his appointment, President Ramkalawan raised current affairs, the status of relations between Seychelles and Mauritius.
 
During discussions, Mr Parkar reportedly updated President Ramkalawan on potential areas of bilateral cooperation that could be further developed between Mauritius and Seychelles.

He also reportedly elaborated on areas that could bring immediate benefit to Seychelles in areas such as renewable energy, fisheries, as well as the tourism sector. 

According to the Office of the President Ramkalawan, Mr Parkar was accompanied on his visit by his Father, Mr Ali Parkar.
