Government MPs have reportedly refused to answer 192 questions at the National Assembly in 2021, according to the Opposition.

Defi Media cited Opposition MPs Ritesh Ramphul and Rajesh Bhagwan as blasting ministers of “shying away from their responsibilities”

During the 39 parliamentary sessions this year, they said, 1,450 questions were asked – out of which 848 were responded to and 356 were withdrawn.

The National Assembly is currently on holidays.
