SEMDEX up 29% since the beginning of the 2021
The SEMDEX, the market index which tracks the performance of all companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (SEM), increased 486 points or 29.49% since the beginning of 2021.
The SEMDEX is expected to trade at 2074.80 points by the end of this quarter, according to Trading Economics global macro models and analysts expectations. Looking forward, it is to trade at 1989.38 in 12 months time.
Historically, the SEMDEX reached an all time high of 2308.30 in March of 2018.
