Political violence & terrorism reinsurance product launched

African specialist underwriting agency Neema Insurance Managing Agency (Neema) has launched a Political Violence & Terrorism reinsurance product for African markets.

“Our product is supported by reputable reinsurers (namely IGI, ASR and certain underwriters at Lloyd’s) who understand Africa and who are committed to the development of the insurance and reinsurance industries in Africa”, Neema said.

Leonidas Baragunzwa, previously Regional Director of Africa Re in Mauritius and Board Director of Neema, was quoted as saying in Reinsurance News that he “fully supports Neema’s various initiatives in Africa for Africa.”
