New MCCI President Patrice Marie Succeeds Charles Harel after 2 Years in Office

Patrice Marie has been elected as the new President of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), taking over the leadership of the nation’s oldest private sector institution.

Representing the IBL Group, Mr Marie was appointed during a meeting held this Thursday, 26 March, at the Caudan Arts Centre in Port-Louis.

He succeeds Charles Harel, who concludes a two-year term at the helm of the organisation.

The transition marks a significant new chapter for the MCCI. Mr Marie’s predecessor, Mr Harel, had served in the role for two consecutive years prior to today’s election.
