In his speech, Minister Assirvaden clarified that the new goal is to achieve 60% renewable energy by 2035, instead of the previous target of 2030.

He criticized the past government for creating “an illusion” over the earlier timeline, implying that the previous plan was unrealistic.

The workshop, led by Fareed Jaunbocus, CEO of Strategos Ltd, focused on validating the Renewable Energy Strategic Plan for 2025-2030.
