Human Leg Washed Up on Flic-en-Flac Shoreline
Flic-en-Flac, Mauritius – A human leg was discovered floating in the lagoon off Flic-en-Flac yesterday, Wednesday, November 5th, in a macabre find reported by local authorities.
Coastguard Discovery
The limb was retrieved by coastguards during a routine patrol, approximately one hundred metres from the shoreline.
Initial Findings and Investigation
Preliminary observations suggest the limb was either severed or dismembered less than a week ago.
An autopsy, conducted by Dr Monvoisin, is scheduled to establish the cause and probable date of death.
Police are attempting to link the discovery to any missing persons reports in the area. DNA analysis will be carried out if deemed necessary to aid identification.
The circumstances surrounding this discovery currently remain unknown.
