4 Seasons Resort Anahita Reopens After Full Transformation
The extensive renovation, aiming to deepen the resort’s connection to the island’s natural surroundings, has introduced a number of new and elevated guest experiences. The Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita is set to reopen on November 1, 2025, following a seven-month, resort-wide enhancement project.
Reimagined Accommodations
The resort’s all-pool villas and private residence rentals have been redesigned by 1508 London.
The new interiors feature light-toned materials, textured fabrics, and vibrant accents inspired by the island’s natural and cultural diversity.
The goal was to create a “living canvas” that seamlessly blends interior and exterior spaces, promoting a sense of tranquillity and elegance.
The renovation has ushered in a new and diverse dining collection, with each venue conceptualized by the Elastic design team to have its own distinct personality:6
A New Culinary Landscape
- Angara: A modern take on authentic Indian tandoor cooking.
- Awase: Blends Japanese omakase precision with a pan-Asian flair.
- Radici: An Italian trattoria with rustic charm, offering flame-kissed pizzas and handmade pastas.
- Chaloupe: Features Mediterranean dishes inspired by the French Riviera.
- Ti Pwason: A chic, “feet in the sand” venue for fresh seafood.
- Blu’Zil: A spot for locally inspired sundowners.
- Rum Library: An intimate space to explore local blends and botanicals.
- La Plaz Beach Grill: Located on the secluded cove of Île aux Cerfs, this venue returns to offer fresh seafood and cocktails.
Overwater Wellness Sanctuary
Wellness is a key focus with the unveiling of the overwater Oseyan Spa.
Perched above the lagoon, the newly renovated and expanded spa offers immersive journeys that combine global therapies with local traditions.
A new oceanfront Royal Spa Suite provides ultimate privacy, with a steam room, handcrafted stone tub, and serene relaxation area with sweeping views.
Championship Golf and Adventure
Every stay now includes a complimentary daily round of golf on a choice of two world-class courses: the Ernie Els-designed oceanfront layout at Anahita Golf Club or the Bernhard Langer signature course on Île aux Cerfs.
In addition to golf, guests can explore the lagoon by boat, relax on the resort’s beaches, or take part in curated excursions to showcase the island’s natural beauty, such as guided hikes to waterfalls.
Commitment to Sustainability
The resort has strengthened its sustainability and conservation initiatives to preserve Mauritius’s natural environment.
These include a pioneering seagrass meadow nursery, an on-site seahorse conservation programme, and the production of mangrove honey to help preserve the bee population.
According to General Manager Martin Dell, sustainability is at the heart of the resort’s operations, with every detail reflecting their commitment to preserving the destination.
